2009 SAMMIES

Sacramento has a yearly music awards show, and every year it gets better. This year i think is a even better year than last. I think its a better year because you can tell they are opening the doors to more music and artists. The catogories range from best rap to best electronica. This year i am seeing alot more of my fellow peers in the running. Which is great! Below are the people I will be voting for. I hope i can vote for more than one. sheesh!

[[besides him being my "homeboy" lol this album is a good one. and him not being your typical sacramento rapper, "hip-hop" artist, or monthly S&R artical feature proves that the doors are opening for more artists to be nominated and the diversity of sacramento music. OH YEAH! and GO BAD supa sav is supa savy's song! HAHA litteraly!]]

Im flippin threw channels and come across "President Obama's First 100 Days." Basically they are talkin about what the title says, his first 100 days.

I feel bad for him. I mean its only BEEN 100 days and people are being more negitive than positive. You can't possibly expect a president to come into office and clean up a 8 year economic mess that the previous administration created. Its going to take some time. Isn't there a saying that "it gets worse before it gets better"? I believe in that. We as americans NEED to hit rock bottom! We are greedy and selffish. We walked around saying how we were the most richest country in the world and the most powerful. How are we the most powerful when we allowed someone and their workers take over our lives and ruin them so much. Unemployments are @ its highest rates since 1983! Over 5 million people are without a job.

A question on the t.v show was "Is Obama completing his Economic promises?" I feel he is... I mean you cannot possibly expect someone to turn eveything around in such a short time. He approved a stimulous package that has helped out economy from sliding further down. He has a lot on his plate... true! But it still is early in his presidency and in the year to call it.

I know I still have belief in him.

First about and about my "TWITTER RANT"

yaaaaaaayyyy! My blog is up! Riiite?! lol i dont like the blankness and boring ness of the templets they give you on here so i will prolly sit at my photoshop for a couple hours today and do something puuuurrty! lol But yeah so my blog... up... lol i am kinda nervous because sometimes i do make sense in my words and thoughts and sometimes i DONT. so please if you read this bare with me. Its not you! I even confuse myself. lol but i am working on that.

What will you gain from reading my Blog?
Well, i am glad you asked. lol I am a very different person. Most of the time Mis-Understood, I am very vocal and fight for what i believe in. Soooo.... Yesterday i went on a "Twitter-Rant" I guess and I did receive some great comments about the issue that i was twittering about. I do want to post those twits, they might be helpful to anybody or a reader out there going threw the same thing.

that person will say "nvr that" then shit u insecure in ur ownself. every1 has scatomas, self-talk, and self image they need to fix, every1!
NO1 ON THE CORNER GOT SWAGGA LIKE U! n that's real cuz swagga is ur own personal style n way of life. u may say im contridicting everything
I said with this "woe is me" or attention getting moment. call it wat u call it. I call it finding myself. im finna b 25 n june. ima mom,
a wife, a ceo, a female, a student, a friend, a daughter, a sister... most of all ima a role model for the children in my life that are
close to me. I have come to find this out and realize this threw spending more time with my neices. so yeah ima be m.I.a for them. to better
myself for them and for me! the seasons are changing and so are the people around me. there season is over! real talk. n the end ima be a
better person. and try my hardest 2 do rite. for me, my son, my husband, family, friends, neices, and for my SUPA SAVY GIRLZ! yeah man."

Now even though, i am still on twitter and checkin my myspace, I will still be "M.I.A" in certain ways. Am i going to be fully off these networks and out of contact while i am finding myself? NO! i cant be. I have a company to run and a life to live. I am just going to try to be more positive and keep it moving in a better more positive way more for and everyone around me.
